About the job

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Finance & Billing Manager to manage the month-end close process and billing cycle for a growing business. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, excellent English communication skills, and the ability to work independently while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Experience in insurance billing and QuickBooks is essential. Forecasting capabilities based on historical trends are a strong plus.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Proven ability to handle month-end closing independently.
• Must be comfortable working night shifts (US time zones).
• Prior experience with insurance billing processes is strongly preferred.
• Experience with US GAAP or working with US-based clients is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage QuickBooks Online/Desktop for accurate financial transaction recording.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure timely data collection and resolution of discrepancies.
• Perform cash flow tracking, expense management, and variance analysis.
• Provide basic forecasting and financial insights based on historical data for planning purposes.

Roles

• Manage and execute the entire month-end close process including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Oversee and ensure accuracy of billing cycles, with a focus on insurance billing workflows.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reports.

Skills 🚀

• Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online or Desktop).
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision and handling confidential data.
• Basic financial forecasting and budgeting capabilities.
• Experience working with remote/offshore teams is a plus.
