We are looking for an experienced senior software engineer with great communication skills, deep experience in software engineering, and most importantly, the ability and willingness to keep learning in this ever-changing technology landscape. Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering or related field of study, or equivalent experience.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and CS principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP).
• 3+ years hands-on experience working with cloud technology (preferably AWS),
• Self-motivated with a learning mindset.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of team-delivered solutions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and other software engineering teams.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to continuous product improvement.
• Communicate effectively across internal and external stakeholders.

Roles

• Work on complex, large-scale projects across Norstella platforms.
• Build cloud-native, secure, scalable, and efficient backend systems.
• Participate in the full Agile software development lifecycle.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and design patterns.
• Maintain, debug, and enhance live production systems.

Skills 🚀

• Strong command of: HTML, CSS, JavaScript React.js, jQuery, AJAX
• RESTful APIs and API security frameworks
• Microservices and service-oriented architecture
• Database: PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB (relational/non-relational)
• Proficiency in one or more: Node.js, C#, Python, Java, .NET
• Cloud services (AWS preferred) – Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS
